Are the startups primarily targeting an efficiency improvement or taking an educational approach?

Project Drawdown
Project Drawdown provides an open-sourced body of research to tackle the problem of carbon emissions in a system-wide fashion. Solutions include technological, social, and ecological all of which should progress in lockstep. The Drawdown Framework is promoted as a blueprint by many impact and climate VC firms.
UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The UN’s SDGs provide a global, positive impact framework that, if implemented, tackle not only climate change but also other planetary crises as well as social inequalities. While not perfect, alignment with at least one SDG is a good indication of positive impact.
